The Columbus Civic Center is a multipurpose public assembly facility with 10,000 arena seats, 23,000 square feet of flat floor space and 5,000 square feet of hospitality suites.
The Civic Center is the premiere venue in a large sports and entertainment complex, commonly known as The South Commons Sports and Entertainment Complex. This complex is comprised of Memorial Stadium, a 13,000-seat football stadium, South Commons Softball Complex, an 8-field softball venue with a 2,500 seat softball stadium (home of the 1996 Olympic Softball Competition) and Golden Park, a 4,500 seat baseball stadium.

Rivercenter for the Preforming Arts
Located in the heart of historic uptown Columbus, RiverCenter for the Performing Arts is the centerpiece of the city’s new arts and entertainment district. RiverCenter’s state-of-the-art facilities include the 2,000-seat Bill Heard Theatre, the center’s main venue and home to the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. Featuring orchestra, mezzanine and balcony seating, the hall is designed to meet the complex technical needs of attractions such as Broadway shows, symphonic concerts, dance performances, pop concerts, lectures and conferences. The center’s second largest performance space, Legacy Hall, has 430 seats and an elegant ambiance that includes orchestra and parterre levels and a balcony that wraps entirely around the stage. From the ceiling a series of light, colored wood acoustical reflectors support striking copper chandeliers. Known for its perfect acoustics and impressive Jordan Concert Organ, the hall is a popular venue with many noted musicians.

Oxbox Meadows Environmental Learning Center
Nestled in a bend of the Chattahoochee River in a hardwood wetland, Oxbow Meadows is a place where nature can be itself. Two walking trails wind between ponds taking hikers into the realm of native flora and fauna. For the nature lover, butterflies, birds, turtles and dragonflies can be found in abundance. The Environmental Learning Center is a hands-on interpretative facility focusing on the natural history of the region. Displays include mounted specimens of mammals, birds, reptiles and a small live animal collection of regional reptiles, insects, amphibians, and fish.

National Infantry Museum
The National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center at Patriot Park contains one of the largest collections of military art and artifacts, and follows the steps of the American Infantryman soldier across two centuries of courage and determination. Port Columbus National Civil War Naval Museum
This new 40,000 square foot facility features two original Civil War military vessels, uniforms, equipment and weapons used by the Union and Confederate navies. Interactive exhibits, including a Confederate ironclad ship simulator, offer the visitor an opportunity to experience 19th century naval combat first hand. Coca Cola Space Science Center-The Mead Observatory is an attraction open to the public once a month for astronomical viewing. There is an admission fee to experience hands-on exhibits, shows in the Omnisphere Theatre and Challenger Learning Center missions.

The RiverWalk is an outdoor 15-mile linear park that hugs the banks of the Chattahoochee River. natural for Columbus to come back to the river in 1992.
