Columbus has something
for everyone. In the South, sports ranks right behind
religion and let me tell
you we take our sports seriously.
I once heard a preacher
say there were two things a Southerner will automatically
ask you when you move
to the South: What church do you belong to? And, what
are you? A Georgia Bulldog or Auburn fan?
Auburn
University is just 40 minutes northwest of Columbus.
It has an
excellent academic program that is only rivaled by
its' outstanding football team. For more fun and
excitement, you have to watch the Georgia Bulldogs
in action. The University of Georgia is located 60
miles northeast of Atlanta in Athens, Georgia. You
couldn't ask for a better team
or university.
